This projects aims to symbiolize one of the five pillars of Islam; Hajj. Muslim pilgrims make their way to Medina near Mecca in Saudi Arabia. The pilgramage is conducted over five days, it symbolizes human equality and unity before God. One of the main rituals involved is the counter-clockwise procession around the Ka’bah, a cube-shaped structure draped in black silk. It is the most sacred shrine of Islam.
